KIIT University Semester Exams

KIIT follows a semester and yearly-based academic system. All the programs in the institute are run under the CBCS system. Most of the programs (except MBBS, MDS, and a few others) in the university are run under the semester system, and an academic year has two semesters: Autumn Semester and Spring Semester.

All functions related to examination and results are carried out by the Controller of Examination department of the Institute.

  • KIIT exams are conducted on an annual basis for programs like MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing, and on a semester basis for all other programs.
  • The annual exams for MBBS are conducted in January, and for MDS in June every year.
  • The annual exams for B.Sc. Nursing are conducted in September.
  • The Autumn End Semester exams are conducted in December, while the Spring End Semester exams are conducted in April/May.
  • Students must register first to appear in annual and semester exams.
  • Without registration, no student is permitted to sit for the university exams.

Admission is granted through a national-level entrance test conducted by the university.

  • KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is a national-level entrance test conducted by the university for admission into all courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical, and dental courses) offered at the institutes.
  • It is a computer-based test conducted at various centers across the country.
  • KIITEE is conducted annually in April, and the result is declared by the end of April, followed by counselling.
