KCET Mock Seat Allotment Result 2024
The KCET seat allotment process will be conducted in three provisional rounds. The first round of seat allotment is currently in progress. The first round seat allotment result will be made available as per the schedule. Applicants can download their allotment from the official portal or through the direct link provided below. Applicants will get a seat in the KCET seat allotment process based on the merit list and the availability of seats. Once the candidates fill in their preferences, the authorities will start matching the number of available seats with the marks of the applicants.
After the allotment of seats, candidates who have received a seat must visit the institute for document verification and payment of the requisite admission fees. Candidates must visit the assigned institute to confirm their availability for the course.

Important Information About Karnataka CET Seat Allotment 2024
As stated above, the KCET seat allotment process has started, and KCET entrance exam qualified applicants can fill in their choice of course and college. Here are a few important points to keep in mind while locking your preferences for courses and colleges online:
- To fill in the right choices online, it is suggested that candidates write down the names of the courses they wish to get admission to on paper along with the names of the colleges they desire to join.
- The seat allotment is based on the merit list, so it is advisable to check the cut-off marks of the colleges you are interested in to gauge your chances of admission.
- Do not aim for just one college option. Instead, list several colleges you want to consider.
- KCET has also released a mock list of seat allotments. Check it to know the names of colleges and courses allotted to applicants.
Procedure to Enter Options in KCET 2024 Seat Allotment
Here are the steps you need to follow to complete the option entry procedure in the KCET Seat Allotment 2024:
Step 1: First, log in to the entry portal of KCET with the help of your CET application number and password provided on the page. We have given a direct link to log in to the page at the end of this post, use it to access the page directly.
Step 2: After logging in, the candidate will need to change their password and create a stronger one with a combination of one alphabet, one number, and one special character. Now, enter a correct and active email ID, mobile number, and choose a secret question.
Step 3: Log in again with the new password. A page will appear on your screen once you log in. Mark your choices on the page. Review the page and the choices you have made before submitting them.
Process of KCET Seat Allotment
The complete process of KCET seat allotment will be completed in two rounds: Seat Allotment Round I, Seat Allotment Round II, and a possible extended Round III.
First Round of KCET Seat Allotment
The first round of seat allotment will be conducted for students who are Physically Disabled, and candidates from NCC and sports categories. Firstly, PH candidates will get the seats, followed by NCC applicants and candidates from the Sports category. Candidates from the UR category and reserved categories will get seats based on reservation rules and merit.
KCET 2nd Round Seat Allotment
In round 2, the remaining seats will be filled. This round will allot newly added seats, unfilled seats, surrendered seats, and forfeited seats. Candidates can check their preferences in seat options until the Seat Allocation Round 2 is introduced. If the candidate does not wish to change preferences, they will get admission to KCET as per their choice. Candidates who participated in Round I can apply for Round II, but those who did not enter any choice in Round I will not be eligible for Round II.
Third Round (Final Casual Round) of Seat Allotment
If seats remain unfilled, this round of seat allocation will be initiated by the officials.

- Scorecard of 2nd PUC or Class 12.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
